In his tenure as Attorney General, Mr. Suthers has initiated successful programs to protect children from Internet predators and to reduce mortgage and foreclosure fraud. Join DMYR October 25th for our October General Meeting. This month we are pleased to welcome State Representative Cheri Gerou. She will give a presentation on the State Budget, a timely issue with prop 103 on the ballot.

Representative Gerou is Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and Vice Chair of the Joint Budget Committee. For more than 20 years, Cheri has been active in the community volunteering for children’s programs, professional organizations and Rockland Community Church. She is the past president of the Colorado Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), past president of the Denver Chapter of AIA and the current chair of Constructors and Designers Alliance (CDA, an organization of 23 member associations involved in the design and construction industry). In 2006, she was appointed by Governor Owens to the State Licensing Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors where she currently serves as Secretary of the Board and Vice Chair of the Survey Quorum of Professional Land Surveyors. She also serves as a current member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and past member of the Professional Development Committee. RSVP HERE and have your questions ready!

DMYR is Teaming up with the Adams County Republican Party in a Joint effort to reach out to Voters during the Adams County Fair August 3rd thru the 7th. We have scheduled to work the booth on Saturday August 6th from 1 – 6pm. We are looking for 12 volunteers who are ready to engage the public and help spread the conservative message. Those interested should email Michelle Massfeller (Michelle@DMYR.net) Volunteers will be given tickets to attend the demolition derby that directly follows at 7pm.
