**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**

The 2012 CRC State Assembly is just around the corner and
we need your help to make it a success!
Sign up today for one or both of the below dates.
Friday April 13:
Time: 10AM – 1PM
Location: DU Ritchie Event Center

Saturday April 14:
Time: 6AM – 3PM
Location: DU Ritchie Event Center

There are many volunteer opportunities available!
(tasks include but are not limited to)

  • Stuffing of campaign literature into bags for delegates and alternates
  • Handing out campaign literature bags to delegates and alternates
  • Posting of signs both inside and outside of venue
  • Credentialing and Delegate Check-in
  • Ushering county delegations to assigned seating areas
  • Stage Management

In his tenure as Attorney General, Mr. Suthers has initiated successful programs to protect children from Internet predators and to reduce mortgage and foreclosure fraud. Join DMYR October 25th for our October General Meeting. This month we are pleased to welcome State Representative Cheri Gerou. She will give a presentation on the State Budget, a timely issue with prop 103 on the ballot.

Representative Gerou is Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and Vice Chair of the Joint Budget Committee. For more than 20 years, Cheri has been active in the community volunteering for children’s programs, professional organizations and Rockland Community Church. She is the past president of the Colorado Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), past president of the Denver Chapter of AIA and the current chair of Constructors and Designers Alliance (CDA, an organization of 23 member associations involved in the design and construction industry). In 2006, she was appointed by Governor Owens to the State Licensing Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors where she currently serves as Secretary of the Board and Vice Chair of the Survey Quorum of Professional Land Surveyors. She also serves as a current member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and past member of the Professional Development Committee. RSVP HERE and have your questions ready!
