A Kansas University graduate with majors in Political Science and Communication Studies, Brett has past experience at state and federal levels, and is active in multiple civic activities in Colorado. These include serving as a clerk for the Colorado House of Representatives and District Captain for the Denver County Republican Party.

Political Director - Lia Moran
Lia was raised in Minnesota, Montana, and Colorado and holds a degree in Political Science from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. She is active in local Republican politics: she is a precint leader and last year served as a delegate to the Arapahoe County Assembly, the 6th Congressional District Assembly, the state convention and was elected to represent the state of Colorado as an alternate delegate to the Republican
National Convention, in Minneapolis, MN. Lia also volunteered on several local campaigns last year, inlcuding serving as campaign manager for a house race and working as a scheduler and assistant to the candidate.

Activism Director - Joshua Hursa
Joshua Hursa is a 20 year old resident of Aurora, Colorado. He moved
to Colorado in May from New Jersey, bringing with him a wealth of
campaign experience. He currently serves as Director of Constituent
Affairs for Colorado State Representative Cindy Acree (R-40), as a
member of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee for the City of
Aurora, and as a member of the Colorado State University Extension
Advisory Board for the County of Arapahoe.

Past President - T.L. James
Thomas James has been a member of DMYR since 2004, and was president from 2007-2009 . He has a B.A. in Political Science-International Relations from Michigan State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and works as an aerospace engineer.
