Denver Metro Young Republicans

A few highlights from Representative-elect Acree’s address to the DMYR membership, loosely translated from my notes.

Hit every door, campaigning early and often, being out with the voting public.

Republicans should not move to the middle, as we did this last election: Stick to Conservative Principles. Deliver our message, and the people will respond.

Republicans should be registering new voters. Now. Year-round. This will help us to match the Left’s ascendant ground game.

Republicans must go on record opposing the Democrat Majority in the State of Colorado. Tell the people what the Democrats are doing, and they will surely hang themselves.

Young Republicans should be getting involved with Community Boards, Chambers, Commissions, City and County Governments, and any other way you can. We are the leaders of tomorrow.

We will not rework this party, this state, and this country without the time, talent, and treasure of all Republicans. We look forward to Representative Acree’s inspiring leadership in the coming months…
