MEOW! CATFIGHT OVER BALLOT MEASURES

The latest mailing against Amendments 47 (right to work), 49 (union paycheck deductions) and 54 (government contracting) shows Godzilla stepping on a firehouse.

In response, the Denver Metro Young Republicans says it came up with its own “absurd, dishonest and manipulative” ad. It features a kitten and says voting against the amendments will make kittens very sad.

“Don’t make Colorado’s kittens cry. Vote Yes.”

Heh.

But lest anyone accuse us of campaign advertising transgressions, I will point out explicitly that it is not an “ad” but a parody of an ad put out by Protect Colorado’s Future Culture of Corruption.
