Kittens for Amendments 47, 49, and 54 - UPDATED: A Puppy Too!

Out-of-state Big Labor-funded front organization Protect Colorado’s Future Culture of Corruption has really gone overboard with its latest mailing. Check out the scans of their “Godzilla vs. A Fire Station” ad over at Peoples Press Collective if you haven’t already received a copy of this thing yourself.

I think “Zombiehunter” hit on a great idea, though — if Protect Colorado’s Future Culture of Corruption can do it, why can’t we make up our own absurd, dishonest, and emotionally manipulative ads in favor of these amendments? So, in that spirit, I humbly offer my own Vote Yes on Amendments 47, 49, and 54 advertisement:

    I LOVE this! I am so upset with this godzilla piece. I don’t understand all the lies. Someone needs to start regulating political ads for conent. I am shocked that people are allowed to just make things up. Go to cleangovernment.com and read the text for yourself and see that 54 is a GREAT amendment. CLEAN our government! VOTE YES on 54!

    Kittens will cry, flowers will die, the sun will shine no more. YES on 54 will save the kittens and the flowers and the sun will shine on and on. YES on 54 is that simple!!! YES on 54 or Godzilla will get us all!!! Vote YES on 54 or else…. lol

    hey, i was reading the actual text of the amendment just yesterday and I noticed that a YES on 54 will also provide free spay/neuter services for puppies and kittens. Those guys down at YES on 54 sure are smart. They thought of everything! Vote YES on 54!

    But…but…if we spay and neuter kitties and puppies as part of Amendment 54, where will we get more kitties and puppies from?

    That’s it — I’m voting against this awful amendment!

    Then again, if you could arrange a $3mil payoff for me too, I might reconsider.
