The Goreacle’s Un-Campaign

April 22nd, 2007 · No Comments

This portends some fun times ahead in the race for the Democratic nomination:

But, aware that he may step into the wide open race for the White House, former strategists are sounding out a shadow team that could run his campaign at short notice. In approaching former campaign staff, including political strategists and communications officials, they are [...]

DMYR Cocktail Reception a Success

April 20th, 2007 · No Comments

Now, as before, politicians are itching to fund their pet projects with the short-term revenue increases that come from tax hikes, ignoring the long-term pain they always cause. Unfortunately, the tax cuts that have produced our record-breaking government revenues and personal incomes [...]

April 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

Drudge is relaying a NYT report that McCain’s campaign is in shakeup mode, following his weak performance in the first fundraising reporting period for 2008.

Not Quite So Reminiscent of Genghis Khan

April 1st, 2007 · No Comments

The bloggers of Iraq the Model have their home searched by a US military patrol, and find the experience remarkably lacking in the atrocities, destruction, and other ill-mannered behavior we’ve been led to expect by those self-asserted patriots who like to support our troops by slandering them.
I guess our soldiers aren’t going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of [...]
