Where do Republicans go from here?

February 26th, 2007 · No Comments

That’s what I’ve been asking myself after last November’s thumping, and hearing recent speakers at the annual Leadership Program of the Rockies retreat last week. The obvious answers are: Running good candidates, more effective fund-raising, and strong GOTV (get out the vote) efforts up to Election Day.
More in-depth answers include: The use of ‘guerilla marketing’ [...]

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the numbers when the poll results were announced this morning (hopefully someone else who attended can provide them), but [...]

What is going on with Iran?

February 13th, 2007 · No Comments

Today’s Wallstreet Journal has an editorial discussing the Iranian involvment in Iraq, specifically the provision of armor-piercing roadside explosive devices.  The evidence, while not conclusive, is damning.
How do the Democrats react?  By blaming the Bush Adminstration.  One question though, is the Bush Administration talking to the Democrats before publishing this information?  I certainly hope so [...]

“It just made sense to me that having the most visible price of government at the top of their mind at this time would be valuable and useful information.”
To learn why Congressmen Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) is so dang wonderful, take a gander at HR 77, currently in committee with the lads over at Ways and [...]
